Maxview is a project to create a paper management system, with similar aims to PaperPort.

At present it can decode and display .max files and allows browsing around directories full of files with thumnails, etc. Maxview shows paper as stacks and these can be moved around and organised in directories. It can also scan and organise paper. It is quite a nice app now with undo/redo, scaled previews, stacking/unstakcing, etc. It works reasonably well with PDF files also.
Maxview is written in C/C++ with the QT library so should be portable to a wide range of platforms.
